Our on-site services includes weighing large and/or heavy objects using our compression load cell systems across Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria. We hold two main compression load cell systems each being a four-point Straightpoint load cell cabled (more reliable than wireless) to a Dini Argeo display case, this combination offers the best quality UK manufactured load cells and a display system designed for portable weighing operations.
The load cell systems are 4 x 50t for weigh’s up to 100t (we maintain the principle of load bearing on two diagonal points) and the 4 x 150t system for weighing up to 300t.
Tension load cells are also available for weighing objects using overhead or mobile cranes and we stock these in capacities up to 150t, again all NATA calibrated load cells and quality brands UK or Australian made.
Our load cells are all fully NATA calibrated by an independent NATA endorsed laboratory.
Some recent weighing projects include modular buildings, pre-cast concrete elements, electrical transformers, fabricated steel structures, pressure vessels and tunnel boring machine cutter heads.
On completion of weighing we issue a certificate that details the weighing process, load cell particulars, calibration dates, associated images as evidence of works. In many cases the weighing of these large objects is to confirm a weight for transport purposes or to obtain a confirmed weight prior for crane lift studies.
