Load Skates
Description
Dynamic offers a comprehensive range of load rollers and skates for hire for the movement of plant and equipment. We can cater for loads from 1 tonne to 60 tonnes and will supply the user with the best equipment for their project.
Load rollers and load skates must be rated to take in the likelihood of overloading of one skate as slight differences in floor levels and crossing expansion joints. Loads typically move better on three points than four as the loadings will be distributed equally, we can assist you with the right information to get your job done safely.
Our load rollers feature nylon wheelsets that are non-marking to floors and require very little effort to move the load.
We also stock steel tracked caterpillar skates for applications nylon wheels aren’t suitable for.
Some Important Things to Consider.
- Load skates must only be used on flat level ground
- Load skates work better on three points of contact than four
- Know the weight of what you’re moving
- Ground surfaces must be clean and smooth
- If any doubt call a professional company to conduct the works
