Skylotec ASX Power Ascender

The Skylotec Power Ascenders are a battery powered motorised hoisting system designed forlifting persons and/or materials in difficult access applications such as wind turbine maintenance, building maintenance, facade and signage installation works.

The ASX when used in a personnel lifting application connects to the operators harness and allows lifting within a 220kg WLL using the OEM specified ropes – for clarity users must be aware the ASX has separate rope specifications for materials and personnel.

Two batteries are issued with every Ascender along with a charging kit – each battery will provide 550m of hoisting range with a 100kg load (high or low ambient temperatures will vary the battery capacity). Hoisting speed is variable between 1 m/min to 25 m/min, with the operating control being a rotational grip on the machine or wireless remote control with a 150m range.

The Skylotec Power Ascender can only be hired to users who are competent in the safe use and care of the machine. We have full manufacturer support from Skylotec Australia with training and site support available along with our ongoing inspection and certification of the machine and ropes.
