Flinders Street Bridge Removal

In June Dynamic Rigging Hire provided a big list of rigging gear as part of the removal of the disused pedestrian bridge in Flinders Street Melbourne.

Delta Group a leading demolition company led the project that involved cranes from Sergi Australia and a big team who cut up the bridge into sections for removal and transport off site by Doolans Heavy Haulage to another location for final demolition.

Dynamic Rigging Hire provided a number of 50 and 20 tonne spreader beams, 50 and 30 tonne round slings, 22mm single leg chain slings, all used to support the bridge sections throughout the cutting works and lowering onto the floats.
