Load testing crane with water bags in Lithgow

Just outside Lithgow NSW sits the former Wallerawang Power Station that was closed in 2014, the site is being transformed into a business park and is currently undergoing demolition and remediation works. Dynamic Rigging Hire was called upon to provide water load bags for the proof load testing of the two cranes in the old turbine hall building as the decommissioned cranes would be put back into service for use in the demolition works to remove all the major components.

Dynamic utilised our Seaflex water load bags, hoses and fittings, calibrated load cells and all associated rigging to conduct load testing over two days, each main hook was tested to 120t and the auxiliary hooks to 20t.
