Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation

Our client, Delta Group recently took on a renovation project that required some demolition works that included the removal of the north side terrace and stairways. The terrace removal required the lower floor to be removed first so a temporary gantry structure was built with cored holes through the slab floor.

Dynamic Rigging Hire supplied the four 10t air powered chain hoists, load cells and rigging gear for the project. This equipment helped to hold the floor so that the concrete saw could be used to carefully cut it into sections. After everything was freed up, the four air hoists lowered down the sections to the ground. Special care was taken to ensure that there was no damage or overloading done since load cells between each hoist and floor monitored their usage.

The Delta Group successfully completed this project and we look forward to more projects like this.
