Monorail Proof Load Test at Metro Tunnel

Dynamic Rigging Hire was recently called upon to provide steel test weights, rigging, and load cells to proof load test a monorail in the Melbourne Metro Tunnel. The load test required both hoists to be simultaneously load-tested, with full travel amongst the scope of test criteria to achieve the specific load test weights. We provided four separate stacks of steel weights lifted by spreader beams with a 25t Straightpoint tension load cell placed between the crane hook and the top rigging gear to measure the testing works accurately.
