Oversize Lifting Frame – Water Load Test

This recent project in Port Melbourne was out of the ordinary with the load test of a large lifting frame used for the lifting of oversize cargo. The lifting frame needed a 110% load test to four separate points on the frame, with each water bag requiring separate load cells.  Due to the frame being connected to the crane hook centre of the frame, the  filling of the water bags needed to be continually monitored to ensure the frame was balanced evenly.
