Rent Reliable Air Hoists

Pneumatic or more commonly known as air hoists are one of our feature rental products, whilst we’re not on our own in the rental market providing air hoists we do think our offering and what stands behind the product to make us one of the leading rental companies in Australia, Dynamic Rigging Hire is often called upon by others in the rental industry to cross hire air hoists from.

Whilst stocking quality brands such as J.D Neuhaus (JDN) and Ingersoll Rand in our rental fleet from 500kg through to 25t capacities our ability to issue the product to the customer with chain fall heights of lift, variations on controls and proof load testing and service history stands us apart. For each of the hoist capacities we carry cut lengths of powered hoist chain from chain makers such as RUD, the load chain will be DAT or T type depending on the hoist specifications, the load chain will be lubricated inside the bearing point of every link but still be clean. With the height of lift options we could issue a 3t 10m and this is considered a standard drop….and is the case but we can also provide 15, 20, 30 50 and 65m chain falls with or without chain buckets.

As we chain up each and every hoist inline with the specific hire contract to the customers requirements this then dictates we must conduct a proof load test, for us that is full load running the load chain a minimum of one metre through the hoist motor and hook block, then adding 10% for overload. Others will do nothing more than a visual inspection; some pull up against a static anchor point or place a hoist in a horizontal test bed…these should not be considered a test.

And finally, on return the hoist is operated, lift the rated load, open up the motor to inspect clean and service, replace all common service parts like filters and O rings, check the brakes and conduct a final run prior to the load chain being removed, cleaned and inspected, all of this is of course recorded in the history of the unit. We carry a large holding of OEM parts to have on hand for servicing or where a customer might have damaged something like a hook latch, we keep all the OEM stickers and have our own blasting and painting facility to keep them looking like new.
